Born and raised in Key West, I have been exploring the waters of Key West for over 30 years. We are home to some of the finest fly fishing anywhere in the world. Our shallow, crystal clear Key West flats make for exciting sight fishing. The hunt is always an exciting one casting to bonefish, permit and tarpon. And our Florida waters include barracuda, sharks, snapper and jacks to round out the perfect fishing day.
My innate instincts of the Key West waters has led me to some incredible spots. Fishing for permit, bonefish and tarpon in shallow water is what I focus on.

I have loved and fished these waters for years. There is nothing like being salty and hunting for fish. With extensive experience in both tournament as well as game fishing, there has not been a day when I haven’t savored the feel and smell of the ocean. It is knowing the waters, currents, weather conditions and temperatures…it is spontaneous as well as calculated…it is always exciting and challenging…it is my hobby, my job and my life…
